| Scope & Content Note: |
This series is an index to copied records of the Trust Territory of the Pacific Islands (TTPI) from the period of its governance by the United States through a Trusteeship Agreement with the United Nations. The TTPI included the Micronesia archipelagoes of the Caroline Islands, the Marshall Islands, the Mariana Islands and the Palau Islands. The index includes geographic area, government department, author and title of publications, dates, microfilm reel and frame, format and quantity of material and subjects such as: budget, communication, community and economic development, education, housing, immigration, law and legislation, and property. |

A second copy of the index and the microfilm is housed in the Hamilton Library, University of Hawaii, Honolulu, Hawaii. The film and index were transferred to both sites in 1988.
